Question about gold/sterling silver jewelry turning skin colors?
my white gold necklace turns my chest black. It looks like I rubbed black dust on my chest. does that mean it's not real?
and my sterling silver earings turns my ears with green/turquose stuff.
why?
yes it does mean it is not real. white gold is yellow gold plated with rhodium to give it the white colour & should not ever turn your skin black.
silver can react if you have sensitive skin...but 925 sterling silver is less likely to do so....are you sure these are real also?
